Dr. Sait is an Assistant Professor at KAU (Physics department) since December 2021. Her speciality is in material science. She received her Phd degree in Nanomaterial synthesis and application and Master degree in Microelectronics and Nanotechnology from De Montfort University (Leicester UK), and did her Bacheloler in Physics with nanotechnology at University of Leicester (Leciester UK).
Dr. Sait has reached out some collaborators both in the UK and in KSA which have led to publishing manuscripts in high-quality journals; Applied Surface Science and Materialia. In addition, she has joined the research group Emerging Technologies Research Centre's (EMTERC) during her PhD study at DE Montfort University and so she is welling to join other groups in the future as well as making many collaborations.
Dr. Sait has taught some courses such as PHYS110, PHYS491, PHYS392, PHYS221. She has joined the Quality and Accreditation Commettee and she is the Quality Coordinator in the Physics department.

RESEARCH INTEREST
Dr. Sait research interest is in studying the relationship between materials properties and their functions. Her future research objective is to design improved devices based on the functional properties of optimised material. Her particular focus is on the preparation of bio-conductive materials to be used as interface between tissues or neurons and electrodes to stimulate or record physiological activities in the human body and particularly in the brain.
