Thermodynamics (PHYS 221)

In this course the student will study the following topics:

System and its types, The Zeroth, First and Second law of thermodynamics, reversible and irreversible processes, equation of state of ideal gas system and PVT system for ideal and real gases, work in case of system volume change, internal energy, specific heat, heat capacity, Carnot cycle, entropy, phase change of matter, the three Tds equations, thermodynamic potential and Maxwell's equations.
